You have to qualify to be one of these delegates. Eligible pledged Party Leader and Elected Official delegate positions are filled according to the following priority: big city mayors and state-wide elected officials; state legislative leaders, state legislators, and other state, county and local elected officials and party leaders. Standing Committee and Delegation Chair
Florida has (9) Standing Committee Members (3) on each committee (Credentials, Platform and Rules). The members of the standing committees and the delegation Chair are elected by a quorum of Florida National Convention delegates on May 31, 2020. You don’t have to be a delegate or alternate to be elected.
Convention Pages(2) are selected by the State Democratic Chair in consultation with the members of the Democratic National Committee from the state before May 31, 2020.
Presidential Electors (6)
Presidential electors to the Electoral College are nominated by the Democratic nominee for President by August 3, 2020.
