You may change your party affiliation with the clerk of the town or city where you are domiciled or at any scheduled meeting of the supervisors of the checklist except for during the period of time between the first day of the filing period for the primary election and/or the presidential primary election and the date of the primary election itself.

Voter Workplace Protection

New Hampshire does not require an employer to provide employees time off to vote, either paid or unpaid. It does provides that an employee who is unable to vote on election day due to employment obligations is considered absent and entitled to absentee voting. New Hampshire Stat. 657.1

You may still vote in New Hampshire's primaries if you will be 18 years old by November 3, 2020.

College Students

If you are a college student not living in your home state, you can vote for Bernie in either your home state or in the state in which you are attending school!

  • To become a District Delegate get on the January 25, 2020 pre-primary Ballot and be elected..
  • File Statement is Candidacy and Pledge of Support between January 6 and January 10, 2020 with the State Party Office, in person or by mail 105 N. State Street, Concord, NH 03301..
  • Start organizing your friends and supporters to vote for you.
  • District Delegates are elected at the January 25, 2020 Pre-Primary caucuses.
  • Show up with your supporters, give a short speech and campaign at the 10 am January 25, 2020 pre-primary caucus. All Democratic voters are eligible to vote at the caucus in their District tor the candidates that filed by January 10, 2020.

At Large Delegates (5) At Large Alternates (2)

  • If you did not get elected as a District delegate you can try to become an At Large Delegate or an Alternate delegate.
  • File Statement is Candidacy and Pledge of Support by April 17, 2020 with the State Party Office, 105 N. State Street, Concord, NH 03301.
  • At-Large and Alternate delegates are elected by a Committee of District Level Bernie Delegates at 10 am on April 25, 2020 at 105 N. State Street, Concord, NH.

PLEO Delegates (3)

You have to be eligible to be a PLEO delegate. PLEOs are eligible according to the following priority: big city mayors and state-wide elected officials (to be given equal consideration); state legislative leaders, state legislators, and other state, county and local elected officials and party leaders. Help Bernie by encouraging qualified Bernie supporting people to file to become PLEO delegates.

  • File Statement is Candidacy and Pledge of Support by June 2, 2020.
  • Forms available on March 1, 2020 www.nebraskademocrats.org

Standing Committee (3) and Delegation Chair

3 Standing Committee members (1 each on the Credentials, Platform and Rules committees) and the Delegation Chair are elected by a quorum of New Hampshire’s National Convention Delegates on April 25, 2020. You don’t have to be a delegate or alternate to be elected.
