Get Registered

Oklahoma has semi-closed primaries — Oklahomans must register as democrat or Independent to vote for Bernie!

Oklahoma does not have online registration, but you can fill out a registration form to print and mail in.

Register as a democrat or undeclared now!

You must be registered by February 7, 2020.

Vote on Tuesday, March 3, 2020, from 7:00AM – 7:00PM.

You can request an absentee ballot to vote by mail at any time starting from January 1st, of the calendar year of which you want to vote. Anyone can vote via absentee.

Id Requirement

The proof of identity law requires every voter who votes in person at the precinct polling place or during early voting at the County Election Board to show proof of identity before receiving a ballot.

Voter Workplace Protection

Voter gets 2 hours, paid, time off. Must give one days notice by writing or orally. Not required if employees’ workday begins more than 3 hours after polls open or ends more than 3 hours before polls close.

The law allows time off for voting, which now includes early voting days, as well as Election Day.

Early Voting

Vote Early in Oklahoma! Oklahomans can vote in-person before election day! If you'll be out of town on March 3 or simply find it more convenient, vote early!

Early voting in Oklahoma begins February 27 and ends on February 29.

Early voting days and times:

  • Thursday, February 27, 8 AM – 6 PM
  • Friday, February 28, 8 AM – 6 PM
  • Saturday, February 29, 9 AM – 2 PM

College Students

If you are a college student not living in your home state, you can vote for Bernie in either your home state or in the state in which you are attending school!

Military/Overseas Voters

If you are a Military Voter or a US Citizen living abroad, you are able to request a ballot here to vote for Bernie.

  • 24 district
  • 8 at large
  • 5 Pledged PLEOs
  • 5 Superdelegates

PLEO Delegates (5)

You have to be eligible to be a PLEO delegate. PLEOs are eligible according to the following priority: big city mayors and state-wide elected officials (to be given equal consideration); state legislative leaders, state legislators, and other state, county and local elected officials and party leaders. Help Bernie by encouraging qualified Bernie supporting people to file to become PLEO delegates.

Standing Committee and Delegation Chair

Standing Committee members (each on the Credentials, Platform and Rules committees) and the Delegation Chair are elected by a quorum of Oklahoma’s National Convention Delegates on April 4, 2020. You don’t have to be a delegate or alternate to be elected.
