Attention Connecticuters! — Connecticut has closed primaries which means you must affiliate as a Democrat to vote for Bernie Sanders. To complicate matters, Connecticut also has an early deadline for affiliating as a Democrat, which is on January 26th, 2016 - Only 7 days away as of this posting.
Fortunately, Connecticut has online registration verification and voter registration, which makes things much easier.

If you’re not currently a registered Democrat in Connecticut, register online here. It only takes a few minutes.
Not registered at all?
If you are not registered to vote you technically have until April 21st to register. Waiting is not recommended. There are already several states in which it is too late for many Bernie supporters to change their affiliation to vote for him, and they feel left out. Don’t be left out!

Get the word out
There are many registered voters in Connecticut who are not affiliated with the Democratic party, many of whom who expect to be able to vote for Bernie.
They will not.
It’s up to us to spread the word and let everyone in Connecticut know about the closed primary system and the deadline.
