Southwest Community Action Program LIFT Program can give you a volunteer driver ride to get an ID or to the polls.
The 18 county New Freedom Transportation Program operated by the Center for Independent Living of Western Wisconsin and North Country Independent Living offers a ride to get an ID or to the polls in the western and northwest counties.
Transit systems in Janesville and Beloit all run routes that can get you to the DMV.
Kenosha Transit provides rides to the polls until 7:30 pm on election day.
Many aging units/ADRCs provide rides for the purpose of exercising your civic duty.

If you are unable to make it into your polling place due to a disability, curbside voting from your car is also available. Please contact your local municipal clerk for details.

Id Requirement
Wisconsin has a new voter ID law, and a website at www.bringit.wi.gov to help you with all Identification issues!
Out of state college students in WI that are using a College ID, must also bring a tuition bill, minimum 28 days to maximum 9 months old to prove ID and residency. This is mostly for dormitory students.
In state college students: If you are not in a dorm, you can use your Driver’s License, if from WI, with proof of residency such as a utility bill.
Voter Workplace Protection
Employees are entitled to up to 3 hours leave to vote. The employee must request leave before Election Day. Pay can be deducted for time lost. The employer can set the time for leave to vote.
Eligibility
To vote in the Wisconsin Primary you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a United State citizen.
- Have lived in the area for 28 days before the election with no intent of moving.

Early Voting
Vote Early in Wisconsin! Wisconsinites can vote in-person before election day! If you'll be out of town on April 5 or simply find it more convenient, vote early!
Early voting in Wisconsin begins March 21 and ends on April 1.
Two ways to participate in Early Voting:
- Head over to your local municipal clerk’s office
- Request, complete, and mail an absentee ballot. Make sure it’s postmarked by March 31st at 5PM or it won’t be counted!
College Students
If you are a college student not living in your home state, you can vote for Bernie in either your home state or in the state in which you are attending school!
Military/Overseas Voters
If you are a Military Voter or a US Citizen living abroad, you are able to request a ballot here to vote for Bernie.

Phonebanking is the single most important thing you can do for the campaign besides voting. Primaries are here, and we need to be calling people and letting them know about how to vote in their state. Don't be scared! I hear from many people that it's daunting to call strangers on the phone, but you will have a script to read and the typical call length is very short.

Attend or host a local event
Phone Banking, Canvassing, Voter Registration Drives, Carpools -- these are just a few of the volunteer-hosted events popping up around the nation in support of Bernie Sanders, and some probably in your city!
If you can't find any events nearby, you should host your own — I've done it several times and it's been a great experience meeting local Bernie supporters!
